The Code 1 marked an important stage in the development of the Black Pepper Yachts range.
Designed by Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group, it combines a contemporary performance hull with the neo-classic lines that define the shipyard: a distinctive coachroof, extensive teak, clean lines and carbon construction.
With the Code 1 Evolution, Black Pepper Yachts has redesigned the interior while retaining the existing hull and deck layout.
Franck Darnet Design reworked the ergonomics, textures, colour palette and finishing details. Textiles, leather, exposed carbon and warmer tones now create a more welcoming atmosphere while maintaining the connection with the technical and performance-oriented character of the yacht.
This new interior becomes the standard configuration for future yachts, while selected materials, finishes and equipment can still be adapted to the owner’s preferences and sailing programme.
Launched less than two years after the Code 0, the Code 1 marked a new stage in the development of Black Pepper Yachts.
Designed by Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group and built entirely in carbon, the yacht combines a contemporary performance hull with the neo-classic lines that define the Black Pepper range.
Clean side decks, extensive teak, a carbon rig and controlled displacement contribute to its distinctive character, while its hull draws on experience gained from modern offshore racing yachts, including Class40 designs.
Like the other yachts in the Code range, the Code 1 is built in limited numbers and follows a semi-custom approach, allowing each yacht to be adapted to its owner’s sailing programme and preferences.
The Code 1 is available in 3 versions:
Available options include:
A wide, flush cockpit provides clear circulation and gives the crew space to work efficiently under sail. The deck layout is designed to make manoeuvres straightforward, whether sailing short-handed or with a full crew.
Removable cockpit seating allows the boat to move easily between cruising and more performance-focused use. Combined with its lightweight carbon structure and modern hull shape, the Code 1 delivers a responsive and precise feel at the helm, with strong acceleration and good control as conditions build.
The new Code 1 Evolution interior was developed in collaboration with Franck Darnet Design.
The work focused on ergonomics, materials, textures, colour tones and finishing details in order to create a warmer and more refined atmosphere.
Textiles, leather and softer tones are combined with exposed carbon, deliberately retained to preserve the connection with the yacht’s construction and technical identity.
The lines remain clean and contemporary. The layout prioritises simplicity, functionality and easy circulation on board, while selected materials, finishes and equipment can be adapted to the owner’s preferences.

The Code 1 is built in carbon fibre and epoxy resin using vacuum infusion. This process allows precise control of resin content in order to achieve a light, rigid and consistent structure.
Hull and deck are produced separately before being bonded and laminated together. The main structural components are then integrated into the hull.
Fairing and painting are followed by the installation of the keel, rudders, propulsion system, electrical and electronic systems, deck hardware, teak and interior fittings.
Weight control remains a priority throughout the build process in order to preserve the performance characteristics defined by the yacht’s naval architecture.
