The Code 0.1 carries forward the spirit of the original Code 0 while introducing a more contemporary and versatile design. Its neo-classic silhouette retains the distinctive Black Pepper identity, with subtle evolutions such as a slight sheer and the beginning of an inverted bow.
Launched in 2019 in its Classic version, the Code 0.1 has continued to evolve. Since 2023, it has also been available in a Sun-Deck configuration, offering a more open cockpit layout.
Built in carbon and designed for both cruising and performance sailing, the Code 0.1 combines light displacement, a powerful rig and efficient hull geometry. Responsive and well balanced, it offers strong sailing performance while retaining the comfort and versatility required for longer days on the water or short cruising programmes.
The brief was clear: retain the elegance of the Code 0, increase performance and create more interior volume for extended time on board.
In 2019, Marc Lombard was commissioned to design the Code 0.1 while preserving the spirit of its predecessor. The distinctive doghouse, elegant aft lines and neo-classic proportions remain central to the design, while the hull introduces a more contemporary and performance-oriented approach.
The result is a yacht that combines the timeless Black Pepper identity with a lighter, more modern and versatile sailing platform.
The Code 0.1 is available in 3 versions:
Each of these versions can be supplied as standard “Sea” or “Lake” with a high-performance rig.
The Code 0.1 is designed for simple, responsive sailing, whether short-handed or with a crew. A self-tacking jib and cockpit-led controls keep manoeuvres within easy reach, while the yacht’s light carbon construction delivers immediate acceleration and an efficient passage through the water.
Lifting-keel versions provide greater flexibility in shallow waters and harbours. Twin rudders maintain precise control when the yacht is heeled, while the carbon rig offers a wide range of tuning possibilities. With its generous beam, interior volume and standing headroom, the Code 0.1 combines the performance of a lightweight carbon dayboat with the comfort required for short cruising and family sailing.

The Code 0.1 is built using carbon fibre and epoxy resin, with the main composite components produced by vacuum infusion. This process precisely controls the amount of resin within the laminate, helping to achieve a lightweight, rigid and consistent structure.
The hull and deck are manufactured separately in dedicated moulds before being bonded and laminated together. The main structural components are then integrated into the hull to create a strong and homogeneous carbon structure.
Once the composite structure is completed, the yacht moves through fairing and painting before the installation of the keel, rudders, propulsion and energy systems, electrical and electronic equipment, deck hardware, teak and interior fittings. The mast and boom are then prepared before final commissioning.
